How to buy a house in Florida from out of state

If you are considering buying a home and are from another state, you can spend hours on the internet searching different websites that are usually not up-to-date regarding current inventory, or you can find a Real Estate Professional in the area you are considering.

A Real Estate professional can save you hours, days, weeks or months in finding the perfect home for you. And remember it doesn’t cost you the Buyer any real-estate commissions. The Seller typically pays the commissions.
First make contact with a Real-estate professional who will ask you several questions. The critical questions will be budget, no reason to look at $500K homes if you only want to spend $300K. How many bedrooms, bathroom’s, pool or no pool, city or rural, taxes and the list goes on. A Real Estate Professional will then begin their search and probably find properties that meet your criteria within a few hours. When you find a property that you love, the Realtor can do a virtual tour via the internet or do a live stream walkthrough. The Realtor can answer any questions as you go. It’s the next best thing to being there.

Once you decide on a property your Realtor then can submit a written offer or choose to visit the property in person. I have sold several homes in Florida to out-of-state Buyers using these methods.
